Plot Planning
The first scene of the Short Film will start with the car hitting dom accidentally. This will result in his death and the driver leaving the scene immediately. We will be able to demonstrate this through the use of quick camera transitions from the car to the boy, which will make the scene look realistic to the audience. We at first decided to have drink driving so there was a moral lesson, but due to censorship issues we are not able to show reckless driving, therefore we had to change the plot in some ways. This hasn't impacted our project too much, and we have got around this issue by the use of different camera angles. We will be able to show the car aproaching Dom, and then with the use of edits we will fade the screen out to black, and use audio to imply that the car has hit the youth. The youth that has been ran over will return as a ghost.
